Upgrade your CNC workspace with this detailed digital plan for building a rigid, clear-panel CNC enclosure designed around the Shapeoko 5.1 Pro 2x2.

This enclosure is a four-sided, open-bottom cover that sits around your machine on an existing bench. It uses a black 2040 aluminum extrusion frame, surface-mounted clear acrylic panels, bypass sliding doors on both the front and back, and a removable top panel for tall or full-width material access.

The finished enclosure measures approximately:

The plan is designed around precut aluminum extrusion to make the build easier: 4 vertical posts at 800 mm and 8 rails at 1000 mm, all using the same 2040 profile. No extrusion cutting is required if you order the bars precut.
